Jack travels to France, to visit visionary Sister Adelle, who is endangered by the Prophesies of Satan. By the time Micki and Ryan arrive on a later flight, Jack is in a coma, and unable to share what he learned.

In the first episode after Ryan (John D. LeMay) left the show, strange powers manifest themselves under Curious Goods, and more of Lewis Vendredi's legacy is made apparent. A dagger used to raise demons from the Pit of Hell is returned to the shop, and Johnny is again called on for help. Meanwhile, self-appointed hunters of Satanists track down a demon, and end up where they started their quest, in a chamber under The Vault.

A mind-reader finds himself hard-of-hearing, and steals an antique hearing-aid from the otolaryngologist. This hearing aid not only helps his hearing, but gives him the ability to read minds. However, the hearing aid builds up the energy of thoughts, and must be discharged regularly, causing death to the victim.

Johnny makes an extremely easy recovery, but sells the item without checking the manifest first. The radio ends up in the hands of a racist murderer, who uses it to go back in time to visit his now- deceased father. Jack and Ryan make a trip to the past and prevent a hate-crime.

An old time, film noir director becomes obsessed with a cursed reel of film (one of his films) when he discovers that he can give a victim to the film in order to get a young version of his wife back...until the victim dies. Then the young version of his wife returns to the black and white film. Micki then becomes trapped in the gangster film reel.

A samurai offers easy return of a cursed tea set in exchange for help with a quest of his own, the retrieval of three monkey statues, currently held by the Tanaka empire. A newspaper journalist's successful career is destroyed by an accident, when he runs over a little girl. After frantically hiding her body, her cameo locket speaks to him, telling him that he can return her to life in exchange for another victim. After he makes that exchange, that victim, through the locket, prompts him to take another victim for her life. Repeat (hence the name).
